What is a badge reel?
A badge reel is a retractable clip that holds your work ID badge. It clips to your scrubs, lanyard or pocket, and the cord pulls out so you can scan your badge without unclipping it, then zips back. Mine have a decorated topper, so your badge holder is cute, too.
How much are your badge reels and bracelets?
Badge reels are $8 and bracelets are $10. Shipping in the US is a flat $5, and it’s free on orders of $32 or more. Four badge reels gets you free shipping.
Is every piece really one of a kind?
Yes. Every badge reel and bracelet is a 1 of 1 original. I never make multiples of a design, so once a piece sells, it’s gone for good.
Who makes them?
I do! I’m Heidi, a nurse, and I make every piece by hand between shifts. I wear them on the floor myself, so I make them to hold up.
Are badge reels only for nurses?
Not at all. They’re popular with nurses, CNAs, techs, nursing students, doctors, teachers, office staff and anyone who wears an ID badge.
Do badge reels make good gifts?
They’re one of the easiest gifts for nurses and coworkers: useful every shift, personal, and only $8. They’re great for Nurses Week, a new grad, a preceptor, holidays or a thank-you for your unit.
Will the clip hold on my scrubs?
Yes. Reels use a swivel clip or belt clip made to stay put through a whole shift. Each listing says which clip it has.
How long is the retractable cord?
Most reels have a cord around 24 inches. The exact details are listed on each product.
Can I clean my badge reel?
Wipe it gently with a soft cloth or a mild disinfectant wipe. Avoid soaking it, and avoid harsh solvents on glitter or acrylic toppers.
Do bracelets fit everyone?
Bracelets are stretch-fit and sized for most adult wrists. Message me if you need a different size.
When will my order ship?
Orders are packed by hand and ship within 1–2 business days by USPS. You’ll get a tracking email as soon as it’s on the way.
Can I return something?
Because every piece is one of a kind, all sales are final. If your order arrives damaged or isn’t what you ordered, message me and I’ll make it right with a replacement or a refund.
How do I pay?
Checkout is secure through Stripe. You can pay with a credit or debit card, Apple Pay or Google Pay.
I saw something on a TikTok LIVE. Can I buy it here?
Most LIVE designs land in the shop after the show. If you can’t find one, send me a message with the name or a screenshot.
Will you make another one like it?
The exact piece won’t come back. If you loved something that sold, message me and I can often make something in the same spirit.
